The Belgian Malinois & German Shepherd are used in the Austin, Texas K-9 Patrol Unit

The Austin Police Department's K-9 Patrol Unit
is comprised of seven police officers, seven
dogs, and one sergeant. Each police canine is
paired with an officer and lives at home with that
officer as part of the family.
Please Note: K-9 Crime Fighters is an independent organization that supports working
dogs and is not affiliated with the Austin, Texas Police Department.

service. He was the friendliest of the Patrol
K-9's and will be sorely missed. Jimmie

currently training named Wiley
