The Austin Police Department's K-9 Patrol Unit
is comprised of seven police officers, seven
dogs, and one sergeant. Each police canine is
paired with an officer and lives at home with that
officer as part of the family.

Please Note: K-9 Crime Fighters is an independent organization that supports working
dogs and is not affiliated with the Austin, Texas Police Department.

Ammo has retired after 9 fabulous years of
service. He was the friendliest of the Patrol
K-9's and will be sorely missed. Jimmie
Davenport has a new malinois he is
currently training named Wiley
Mike Rauert has moved out of K-9 Patrol
and Ace is looking for a new handler.
