Liberty Hill is a town just northwest
of Austin in the beautiful Hill Country.
Harley works for the Liberty Hill
Police Department along with his
handler, Captain Nassour. Harley is
a german shepherd and primarily
assists with drug interdiction;
however, he is also currently in
training for cadaver recovery.
Capt. Nassour says that Harley also
has assisted with locating lost
children and adults in addition to
tracking down suspects.

Harley is currently 5 years old and was born on April 28th. He started working with Liberty
Hill's Police Department on July 3, 2007 and previously had been privately owned by
someone who had planned on starting a security company that performed narcotics
detection. Harley is always ready to work, day or night, and spends all of his time with his
handler who says he is his best friend.
