K-9 Crime Fighters
Yakov was an 80-pound German
Shepherd from Czechoslovakia who
served in APD's K-9 Patrol from 1993 to
2001. Also known as "Yak," he worked
with his handler, Officer Davie Koshel, for
9 years and had at least 170 arrests
during his career.
