APD's K-9 Patrol "Name That Dog" Contest Contest Ended April 8, 2005

The new police dog's name is Vuk (pronounced "Vook," which is Croatian for wolf) Nevil Easterling from Ms. Bush's class at Patton Elementary is the winning student.

K-9 Patrol Dogs' Flyer (pictures!)

Austin, Texas 5th Graders helped choose the name for the newest Austin Police Patrol Dog they obtained Spring 2005.  The winning student, Nevil Easterling, chose the police dog's name and won a $100 savings bond and more, in addition to winning prizes for his classmates.
