| Aljoša Kozlov is our new friend from the City of Rijeka, Croatia (northern part of Adriatic sea coast, about 25 km away from the Slovenian border and 70 km away from the City of Trieste, Italy). As of 2007, he is a police officer with more than 13 years of experience and 9 years of experience as a K-9 officer. Aljoša is partnered with "Lord," a german shepherd patrol/attack dog. At 11 years old, "Lord," will retire soon, but he is still very healthy and in great shape. "Lord" is also certified in SWAT work. From 1998 through 2002, Aljoša jointly trained with the U.S. Army military police K-9 handlers (MWD), and he received several Certificates of Achievement from the U.S. Army for his work during their regular "rotations" involved in the NATO-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are very excited to add these great pictures of this Croatian K-9 team to our Web site! |
