| Kozmo Taking a Break |
Happy Tails in Cedar Park hosted a retirement ceremony for three K-9 Patrol Dogs who
retired this year: Bandit, Kozmo, and Draco. Bandit's handler was promoted to
Detective, and Bandit was old enough that it was decided to allow him to retire and live
with his former handler rather than force him to adjust to a new, unfamiliar handler.
Kozmo retired at 11 years of age and is now living with his former handler. Draco was 9
years old and was retired due to cancer being discovered and lived with his handler
until the cancer overwhelmed him.
